Mason & Hanger has announced that R. Darin Hensley, P.E., P.L.S., has joined the firm’s office in Lexington, Kentucky, as a project manager in military programs. Hensley has approximately 20 years of experience leading project architecture and engineering teams. He is an active member of the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers and began serving as president in April. He is also cochair of the Education and Mentoring Fund Committee for the Kentuckiana Post of the Society of American Military Engineers. Hensley earned a civil engineering degree from the University of Kentucky.
Moore Engineering Inc. has promoted Kurt Lysne, P.E., to office manager in West Fargo, North Dakota. Lysne will work directly with water resources clients as well as be responsible for financial and performance metrics. In 2006, he joined Moore as a full-time engineer, eventually becoming group leader in 2016. The North Dakota Society of Professional Engineers named Lysne the 2015 North Dakota Young Engineer of the Year. He holds a BS in civil engineering from North Dakota State University and is a certified floodplain manager.
Eddie Wade, P.E., has been named by Cobb Life Magazine to The Cobb Life List: 20 Under 40. Wade, of Smyrna, Georgia, is executive vice president of Marietta-based engineering firm Croy Engineering, where he leads the firm’s growth strategy and business development efforts. In 2019, he was named Young Engineer of the Year by the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers. He holds a BS in biosystems engineering from Auburn University.
The Midwest engineering and environmental firm Fehr Graham has announced the addition of Jason Stoll, P.E., as an owner. Stoll is branch manager of the firm’s office in Rochelle, Illinois, and is experienced in municipal and site development engineering. His specialties include water distribution/treatment systems, pedestrian walking and riding facilities, and transportation engineering. Stoll also serves as the primary contact for several municipalities Fehr Graham represents. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
Tom Roberts, P.E., F.NSPE, has been appointed by NSPE to serve a three-year term as representative to the ABET Board of Delegates and area delegate to Applied Natural Sciences and Engineering Technology. Roberts, who served as NSPE president in 2017–18, is assistant dean emeritus of Carl R. Ice College of Engineering at Kansas State University. For 21 years at Kansas State, Roberts was responsible for engineering recruitment and leadership development. He is currently a facilitator in K-State’s Global Campus Executive Coach program.
Christopher Guy, P.E., has been appointed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to the Jefferson and Orange County Board of Pilot Commissioners. The board has exclusive jurisdiction over the pilot services provided in the counties, including intermediate stops and landing places for vessels on navigable streams wholly or partially located in the board’s jurisdiction. Guy is the civil/structural department engineering manager in the Beaumont office of Lanier & Associates Consulting Engineers Inc. He earned a BS in civil engineering from Lamar University and a master of science in engineering from the University of Texas at Austin
