NSPE and NICET Endorse Veterans' Certification Legislation

The National Society of Professional Engineers and its National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies have endorsed the Troop Talent Act of 2013. Introduced by Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) in the Senate and Representative Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) in the House of Representatives, this legislation (S. 700/H.R. 1796) would facilitate improved alignment of specialty skills acquired in military service with civilian certifications or licenses required for post-service employment.
