Scenes From the 2018 Professional Engineers Conference

At the 2018 Professional Engineers Conference, more than 375 attendees met at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas from July 18–22 for professional development, networking, entertainment, and planning for the future of the Society and the profession.
2) Gutter Balls Happen…
But there’s no better place to network than at the Brooklyn Bowl on the Las Vegas Strip.
3) Fountains Happen, Thanks to Engineers
Aside from the chance to risk it all and become a high roller, attendees also had the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at the world-famous Bellagio Fountains.
4) Continuous Learning
Twenty-five education sessions covered the latest trends, technologies, and issues: licensure threats, cybersecurity, career planning, dam safety, drones, the digital engineer, and many others.
5) #PECON18
Attendees took to Twitter and other social media platforms to share their experiences in Sin City.

7) Volunteer Spirit
Dedicated volunteers working to build a better NSPE were installed as members of the House of Delegates and the board of directors. Under the leadership of 2018–19 President Michael Aitken, P.E., F.NSPE, these volunteers will continue guiding the Society through the implementation of the new business model approved by the delegates in 2017.
