Milton F. Lunch Ethics Contest

The 2008 ethics contest deadline of April 18 has passed. To be included on the 2009 ethics contest mailing list, please send your name and address to mcannon@nspe.org.
 
All current NSPE individual members, NSPE state societies, and NSPE chapters, (including student chapters) are invited to participate in the annual Milton F. Lunch Ethics Contest.  Match your wits with experienced professional engineers and engineering students throughout the country!

The winning entry will receive a cash prize of $1,000, an award certificate, and recognition in PE magazine as well as in external media outlets.  Your state society will receive $500 and the remaining $500 will be divided among the authors.

This award is administered by the NSPE Board of Ethical Review and prizes are provided by NSPE and the NSPE Educational Foundation.
 
About Milton F. Lunch:
Milton F. ("Milt") Lunch, NSPE's general counsel from the 1940s until the 1980s, was critical to the establishment of the NSPE BER and the development of the NSPE Code of Ethics in the 1950s. During his tenure as NSPE general counsel, Lunch presented numerous papers and authored influential articles about the importance of licensure, ethics, and professionalism. He passed away in 2001.
