SRF Consulting has brought on board Khani Sahebjam, P.E., as vice president, where he will assist with regional business development and contribute to major transportation projects. Previously, Sahebjam worked with the Minnesota Department of Transportation, where he rose through the ranks to eventually serve as deputy commissioner and chief engineer. He has also served on a number of American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials’ committees and has presented at their national conferences. -
John Morris, P.E., was recently named branch manager for Fehr Graham’s Springfield, Illinois, office. He had previously worked as project manager for the firm, and will now oversee the day-to-day operation of the office. Morris has more than 40 years of experience working in both the private sector as well as with the Illinois Department of Transportation, where he worked in the Bridge Office and for the Local Roads and Streets Office. He earned his bachelor’s in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. -
Christopher Hetro, P.E., an electrical engineer with the A/E design firm Borton-Lawson, has been selected to serve on the Pennsylvania State University’s Electrical Engineering Alumni Mentorship Advisory Council. The council supports a program that facilitates professional development for engineering students at the university by offering guidance, counsel, and networking opportunities. -
John Bickley, P.E., has been hired as vice president of sustainable utility sales at Hydrotex, a Farmers Branch, Texas, company that manufactures and distributes lubricant and fuel-improver solutions. He brings over 35 years of experience to areas including electric utility operations, maintenance and technical support, and compliance monitoring. He holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Texas Tech and a master’s in engineering management from Southern Methodist University. -
Neel-Schaffer, the engineering and planning firm, has promoted Steve Twedt, P.E., to vice president in charge of its south Mississippi operation. Prior to joining Neel-Schaffer four years ago, Twedt spent 23 years with the Mississippi Department of Transportation. In his early time with the firm, he worked as an area manager in their Biloxi office, coordinating work along the Gulf Coast. -
Robert Bailey, P.E., has transitioned to president of the facilities and urban environments business at CH2M Hill, where he previously led the water division. When he led the water group, he had responsibility for worldwide development, project performance, and risk management of all water and wastewater projects. In his new role, Bailey will oversee the firm’s full-service offerings on facility projects worldwide, including both public and private sector jobs. In addition, he is on the firm’s board of directors.
