For New Graduates, Engineering Degrees Top Pay Chart

It’s that time of year when students are ending their collegiate life and prepping for a new professional journey. And if you’re an engineering major, your journey could start with a generous salary offer.

Graduates with engineering bachelor’s degrees continue to top their peers with higher starting salaries, according to the National Association of Colleges and Employers’ latest salary survey. Engineering majors are projected to receive the greatest starting salaries—an average of $66,521. They are followed by computer science majors at $66,005 and math and sciences majors at $61,867. The average salary offer for business majors is $56,720.
