NSPE and Fire Protection Society Sign Agreement
NSPE and the Society of Fire Protection Engineers signed a memorandum of understanding on April 7 to establish cooperation between the two societies.
The relationship focuses on sharing information by exchanging publications, memoranda, and materials produced by the societies and obtained through conferences, forums, meetings, exhibitions, and other events. Both societies will promote educational and training op-portunities to each other’s members, and will help support and maintain a licensing examination focused on fire protection and safety en-gineering.
The agreement was signed by NSPE Executive Director Mark Golden and SFPE Executive Director Nicole Testa Boston. It will be re-viewed at least once per year.
