CMA 501, Agreement between Owner and Construction Manager as Advisor (2021), is used by a project owner to retain a construction manager to serve in an advisory capacity for the delivery of the project. Construction Manager as Advisor services may be rendered for a variety of different project delivery systems ranging from traditional design-bid-build (DBB) to progressive design-build, and for situations in which there are multiple prime construction contractors.
