It is the policy of NSPE to proactively advocate for the legislative, regulatory, and administrative actions to support licensed professional engineers. NSPE recognizes licensed professional engineers as integral factors in the planning, engineering, designing, implementing, constructing, testing, operating, maintaining, and renewing of engineered systems. NSPE volunteers and related business entities are encouraged to implement this policy in relevant position statements, operating procedures, and business practices.
