Life and Retired Members
The connections never should never stop. Longtime members understand the value of NSPE—and vice versa. Learn more about Retired and Lifetime Member status and contact NSPE to confirm eligibility for a member status change.
Retired Member
You qualify for Retired Member status if you have been a continuous NSPE member for 25 years and have retired from active practice. “Active practice” is defined as providing engineering consultation totally more than 300 hours in a given calendar year. Members granted retired member status are entrusted to honor the “active practice” provision.
Retired members renew annually for $149 and retain access to all member benefits.
Life Member
You qualify for Life Member status if you have been a continuous NSPE member for 40 years.
Life Members retain access to all member benefits. There are no annual dues for Life Members; however, making an annual voluntary contribution to NSPE’s Education Foundation is encouraged.
The NSPE Educational Foundation supports NSPE's mission to advocate for engineers and protect their licenses. Life members are a huge part of this contribution. Thank you for your support.
Registration is open for NSPECon26 in New York City, New York!
Volunteering at NSPE is a great opportunity to grow your professional network and connect with other leaders in the field.
