The NSPE New Professional Award recognizes outstanding young engineers who have made significant contributions to the engineering profession, their communities, and the National Society of Professional Engineers. This prestigious award highlights the achievements of early-career licensed Professional Engineers who exemplify the values of integrity, technical excellence, and service.
Jordan Haney, P.E., has been awarded the 2026 New Professional Engineer of the Year Award by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). This award recognizes a young NSPE member who has made outstanding contributions to the engineering profession and the community during the early years of their career.

Established to support and promote the next generation of engineering leaders, the New Professional Award celebrates individuals who:
- Demonstrate exceptional professional growth and involvement
- Uphold the ethical standards of the engineering profession
- Contribute meaningfully to community and public service
- Serve as role models and emerging leaders within NSPE
Nomination Process
Nomination Process
Nominations for the award are accepted once per year, closing March 1, 2026. A panel of NSPE members and leaders will evaluate all nominations and the recipient will be announced during the NSPE Annual Conference and featured in PE magazine and other NSPE communications.
