Decisions at the ballot box influence policies that support engineering standards and public safety.The awarding of all NSPE Education Foundation scholarships is dependent on NSPE Education Foundation funds being available in the annual cycle in which the NSPE Education Foundation scholarship is awarded.
The application process is open. Application deadline is April 15, 2026.
Graduate, Undergraduate
The NSPE Education Foundation George B. Hightower, P.E. Fellowship is awarded annually to a current engineering undergraduate or graduate student who is enrolled in, or graduated from, an ABET-accredited engineering program. The award is for $3,000.
Undergraduate
The NSPE Education Foundation Auxiliary Legacy Scholarship is awarded annually to a female undergraduate entering or continuing their junior year of a four-year ABET-accredited engineering program. Multiple awards are potentially available. The award is for $5,000.
This scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student who is a resident of either Kansas or Missouri, enrolled as a junior in an ABET-accredited engineering program in a college or university in either Kansas or Missouri. The award is for $2,500.
The Steinman Scholarship is awarded annually to undergraduates entering or continuing their junior year in a four-year ABET-accredited engineering program. The award is for $5,000.
