The Evolution of Hydroseeding and Hydromulching Technology

Hydroseeding and hydromulching have emerged as powerful tools in the business of vegetation establishment.  Invented in the 1940s, hydroseeding introduced the idea of mixing seed and water together.  The mixture could easily be sprayed over steep slopes, providing seed dispersal and irrigation at the same time.  Over time, these mixtures became increasing complex, including mulch to assist with surface erosion control, nutrient additives, and much more.  Today, the hydromulching industry provides powerful solutions for effective erosion control and vegetation establishment.  This course will strive to provide attendees with access to a strong set of tools for important business of successful turf building.
