Joining of Materials and Structures

NYSSPE & Marzzo Engineering

No process in manufacturing or construction is more important than joining, as without joining large, complex assemblies or structures could not exist. The three most important joining processes are mechanical fastening, adhesive bonding, and welding. Each needs to be understood by designers and other engineers. This seminar will provide that understanding. There will be a review of what is joining and why it is important. This seminar will focus on joining using mechanical forces.
