Hobby: Ping pong, hiking, and bicycling, with my boys, of course.

Proudest engineering accomplishment: Serving as a board member for five years for the Florida Board of Professional Engineers and being the first woman chair.
The engineering feat that really amazes me: There are so many, someone should author 1000 Engineering Feats to See Before You Die. Probably, for me the Panama Canal.
What I did at work yesterday: Went to a conference from 8:00 10:00 and saw 200 people, went to my office to polish off a PowerPoint presentation for the Greater Orlando Airport Authority to be delivered the next day, attended a client's board meeting from 1:00 2:00, attended a Central Florida Economic Development Commission meeting from 3:00 6:00, picked up dinner on the way home in time to see the American Idol final show with my kids.
The PE license.... is the most important milestone in one's engineering career.
Why I joined NSPE: There is strength in numbers. I am passionate about the engineer's role in improving the world and want to do my part, in some small way, to make the world a better place.
