Press Release Release: Immediate Jacksonville Engineer Receives Prestigious Award ALEXANDRIA, Va. (July 31, 2008) Peter J. Sheridan III, P.E., has been awarded the Professional Engineers in Private Practice (PEPP) Merit Award at the 2008 National Society of Professional Engineers Annual Conference in Portland, Ore. The PEPP Merit Award is presented to committee chairs or members, PEPP members serving in liaison functions or joint activities or any member who has made significant contributions to the organization and the engineering profession. In addition, the employer of the winner is recognized for the support the consulting engineering firm has given to the profession through the activities of the recipient. Sheridan was the 2007 recipient of the Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers's A.W. Gilchrist Award, presented to a registered professional engineer who has brought recognition to the profession through public office and civic leadership with significant participation in FICE and other professional societies.
