Through the Years: An NSPE Time Line 1960–1969

The NSPE Educational Foundation is incorporated. The foundation began as an organization to administer scholarships and fellowships while also supporting and promoting engineering education activities.
 
Kentucky and New Hampshire become the last state societies to affiliate with NSPE.

The Professional Engineers in Industry Practice Division is organized.

The modern NSPE Code of Ethics is adopted.
 

A practice division for engineers in education is formed.

The American Engineer magazine is officially changed to Professional Engineer magazine.
